Sugar & Snow Gelato To Open New Café Close to Bent Creek and The North Carolina Arboretum

Sugar & Snow Gelato announces it will be opening a café inside Billy Goat Bikes’ new location at 1446 Brevard Road, close to Bent Creek and The North Carolina Arboretum in November.

October 6, 2016, Asheville, NC: Next month, Sugar & Snow Gelato will open a café inside the Billy Goat Bikes new shop location at 1446 Brevard Road. The new café will be close to the popular hiking and biking spot at Bent Creek inside Pisgah National Forest as well as near The North Carolina Arboretum.

“We so excited to be opening up the new café in collaboration with Billy Goat Bikes,” said Amy Pickett, owner of Sugar & Snow Gelato. “I really enjoy mountain biking and there’s nothing like some sweet treats, a sandwich, and a cold beer after a long ride.”

“We are thrilled to be the closest bike shop to the Bent Creek Area now,” said Matt Haynes, owner of Billy Goat Bikes. “Our goal with the new shop was to create a space for people to come hang out, have a beer or a bite, and get their bike worked on at the same time. We know how much locals and visitors alike enjoy Bent Creek for biking and also for hiking, walking, running. We hope everyone will come and check out our new spot.”

The new café will offer freshly made, handcrafted gelato, milkshakes, baked goods, trail snacks, sandwiches, and coffee drinks. Local beer will also be available inside the bike shop. Both businesses plan to host a series of opening day events and specials in early November.
